Server, RightFax Edition 9.4 FP1, Service Release 1
Before you install Service Release 1, please note the following important information.
· This service release is intended to update Open Text Fax Server, RightFax Edition 9.4 servers and client applications that have already had Feature pack 1 applied. If you have not installed RightFax 9.4 Feature Pack 1, download it from the Open Text Knowledge center and install it on your Fax Servers before applying Service Release 1.
· Apply this update to local Fax Servers before installing it on remote Fax Servers.
· After the service release has been installed, do not run the RightFax 9.4 Setup.exe in order to add a feature. Instead, use the Change command in the Windows Add or Remove Programs application.
· An update to this readme file may be available. Verify that you have obtained the most current readme file from the Open Text Knowledge Center, https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll/open/15703289.
WARNING Before applying this update, if you have one or more Dialogic® Brooktrout® TR1034 fax boards installed, you must confirm that the file BtCall.cfg in the \RightFax\DocTransport\Brooktrout folder is not set to read-only. If it is, remove the read-only attribute from the file before applying the service release. Installing the service release with this file set to read-only will fail to properly update the file and will render the fax boards inoperable.
WARNING Before applying this update, all remote RightFax services must be shut down. If they are not shut down, data loss can occur. Also, database scripts could be run while a remote server is accessing the database, causing a failure to upgrade the database.
Download Open Text Fax Server, RightFax Edition 9.4 Feature Pack 1, Service Release 1 from https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll/open/15703289.
