What’s New in Equitrac 4.2.2

We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Equitrac Express and Equitrac Office version 4.2.2. This product release provides many enhancements, especially for the education sector, including:

  • Education features
    • User-created guest accounts
    • Allocated and Paid user accounts
    • Eliminate campus card mapping file
  • Configuration & Management features
    • Enhanced user search in System Manager
    • PIN Management – specify minimum/maximum PIN lengths (PageCounter, Web Tools)
  • Workflow features
    • Delegate printing
    • Mixed single and dual factor authentication
    • Cashier application now supports card swipe to locate user account
  • Billing code enhancements
    • User Dashboard Web Tools – allow user to specify a default print billing code
    • System Manager – option to automatically charge to a user’s single billing code
    • PageCounter – prompt for billing code at print release
    • End points – BC prompt at print release is no longer dependent on BC prompt at login
  • User Dashboard Web Tool enhancements
    • Display balances: user accounts (allocated and paid), colour quota, campus card
    • Display PIN1
    • Display list of held print jobs and allow user to select and delete them
    • User can select from multiple account activity reports
    • User can transfer funds to another user account
    • Administrator controls which features are available
  • Environments
    • Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS), Essential and Standard versions, is now supported for server components and administration tools
  • Localised installation guides (FIGSP)
