It is incredibly powerful to combine a single, massively scalable database of all a company’s document images with a system that can track progress of those documents through any process. All of this is from a single application, from a single company, with years of history, a large installed base and very forward thinking developers.
We’re convinced that this rich functionality makes OnBase different to any other enterprise content management (ECM) system. But on the other hand, it is still provided in a modular fashion, to allow companies to develop their strategies over time and stage their investments.

OnBase supports existing data systems
As an independent, we were free to choose whichever system would provide most value to our significant customer base. Our base has wildly differing installed technology and it was important to provide systems with as broad connectivity as possible.
We are able to populate the database with information from existing Accounts, HR, CRM and logistics systems, quickly and seamlessly. And whether from a print stream or OCR from paper documents or forms, Avanquest will always find a way to present documents electronically and to move them through the customer process.
Porting from existing document systems is naturally part of our services, making it easier to plan a company’s migration from old and un-supported image databases.
We develop Business Process Workflow Applications
Avanquest ProcessFlows has defined many common business processes from timesheet automation, accounts payable and accounts receivable solutions and Proof Of Delivery solutions, for Accounts, HR and Logitstics departments.
A single platform allows applications to provide the workflow between disparate systems such as CRM and Accounts, whilst retaining the initial investement (time, money and knowledge) in the original systems. This reduces the impact of change.
At Avanquest ProcessFlows we have deployed OnBase to handle many of our own processes, and in some ways we are our own best case study.
